A product-minded engineer, a team lead, and a highly experienced software engineer based in the Netherlands, with a strong front-end and back-end development background and 10+ years of experience in enterprise-grade distributed systems and delivery of their features. I thrive in companies that encourage diverse team cultures and are driven by core values. I derive satisfaction from nurturing the growth of those around me by mentoring them towards suitable opportunities. I'm a proponent of experimentation but cautious about delivering high-quality code. HackerOne | March 2021 - Present

  • Currently leading one of the company's high-priority projects related to vulnerability disclosure programs. Responsible for engineering architecture and delivery
  • Architected, implemented, and managed delivery of most of the HakcerOne Campaigns feature and led the team to achieve significant results by introducing HackerOne Campaigns, contributing over $800,000+ in bounties within six months.
  • Worked with Claude while integrating HackerOne AI into various features.
  • Mentored a junior engineer to be ready for a promotion to the next level.
  • Created tracking systems using Looker to measure teams' OKRs and feature usage and keep finding projects to achieve the key results.

Senior Software Engineer

Apigate Sdn.Bhd. | August 2016 - January 2019 (~3 yrs)

  • Customized the WSO2 Identity server to a Mobile Identity Gateway while adding new authenticators and enhancing it for the next open-source release.
  • Engaged in onsite collaboration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for South Asia's largest telecommunication provider as a technical consultant to solve their ongoing technical and business problems.
  • Analyzed and comprehended the existing architecture of the client, and executed a seamless system upgrade with the new product.
  • Redesigned the architecture, eliminated redundant code, and conducted empowering sessions on "clean code" for the entire company.
  • Created and authored comprehensive open-source documentation for the product.
